Diligently Contributes towards Sanitation & Cleanliness

Swachh Bharat Abhiyan or the Clean India Mission is a national level campaign run by the Indian Government to cover all the towns to make them clean. This campaign involves the construction of toilets, awareness on sanitation programmes in the rural and urban areas, cleaning streets, roads and changing the infrastructure of the country to lead the country ahead. In congruence to this objective, Swaraj Division has taken up activities like construction of community toilets, mobile lavatory for the slums, installation of dustbins at public places, maintenance and up keeping of green parks through active support of Municipal Corporation, SAS Nagar, Punjab. Swaraj was awarded for its contribution towards Swachh Bharat Mission by Ministry of Urban Development in 2016.
